Farm To Pet Beef Chips — Single-Ingredient Beef Dog Treats
12 oz resealable bag · 6 calories per chip · beef round, nothing else
Beef round, dehydrated, and that's the whole story — no poultry anywhere in the bag, which is the reason most people end up here. Dogs treat beef as higher-value than chicken, so this is the one to save for recall practice and the vet's waiting room rather than the everyday sit.
What Makes It Different
- 🥩 Beef round and nothing else — one ingredient, no poultry, no grain, no preservative. If chicken is off the menu at your house, this is the same idea in a different protein.
- ⚖️ Read the fat number before you buy — the guaranteed analysis is 56% protein and 39% fat — far richer than the poultry chips at 3%. That's what makes it high-value to a dog, and why it's a reward rather than a snack.
- 🎯 High-value by design — trainers keep a separate treat for the hard asks. At 6 calories a chip you can afford to spend a few on a recall that actually matters.
- 🇺🇸 Midwest beef, USA-dehydrated — hormone-free, no by-products, gently dried rather than cooked with additives.
Ingredients & Nutrition
Ingredients: beef. Boneless beef round, gently dehydrated. No additives, fillers, preservatives, colors, by-products or added hormones.
Guaranteed analysis: crude protein 56% min, crude fat 39% min, crude fiber 0.6% max, moisture 7% max. 6 calories per chip. A source of iron, potassium, magnesium and vitamins B6 and B12.
A note we think you should have: Farm To Pet's own copy describes these as low in fat. The guaranteed analysis on the same page says 39% crude fat minimum. Beef round is a lean cut before drying, but removing the water concentrates the fat along with everything else. We'd rather show you the number than repeat the adjective.
Feeding guide from Farm To Pet: 2-4 chips a day for a small dog, 5-7 for a medium dog, up to 10 for a large one. Chips break easily, so one chip can become four training rewards.
FAQ
Are these low fat?
No. At 39% crude fat minimum they are the richest treat in this range — the chicken and turkey chips sit at 3%. For a dog on a low-fat plan, or one with a history of pancreatitis, ask your vet before using these and consider the poultry chips instead.
Why choose beef over chicken chips?
Two reasons. Poultry is one of the more common protein sensitivities in dogs, and beef reads as higher-value to most dogs, which makes it more useful for difficult training.
Can I use these as everyday treats?
You can, within the 10% rule — 2-4 chips a day for a small dog, up to 10 for a large one. Given the fat content we'd keep them for training rather than handing them out all day.
Is beef round actually a lean cut?
Yes, as a raw cut it's one of the leaner ones. The 39% figure is what's left after dehydration removes most of the water — the same reason the protein reads 56%.
My dog can't have chicken. Anything else here?
The walleye Fish Chips are also single-ingredient and poultry-free, and lower in fat than the beef.
🎁 Rotate The Proteins
If poultry is out, Fish Chips give you a second single-ingredient option — wild-caught walleye, leaner than the beef, and a genuinely novel protein for most dogs.
Two proteins, no poultry in either.
