Dog Treat Storage Canisters — Set Of 2, Volcanic Gray
Two canisters · carbon steel · bamboo lids · 7 in and 6.25 in
The bag a treat arrives in is designed to survive a warehouse, not to sit on your counter. These are: two carbon steel canisters with bamboo lids, a raised filigree inlay and TREATS on the front, in a muted volcanic gray that reads as kitchenware rather than pet supply.
Why A Jar Beats The Bag
- 🏺 Two sizes, so the pair actually works — the large at 7 inches takes the everyday chews; the medium at 6.25 inches handles training treats or a second flavour. One on the counter, one in the pantry is how most people run them.
- 🌱 Bamboo lid, steel body — the lid seals out moisture, humidity and pests according to the maker. The powder-coated steel resists spills and dents, which matters more than it sounds when a jar lives at counter-edge height.
- 🎨 Volcanic gray with filigree detail — a soft warm grey with a raised inlay pattern. It sits alongside kitchen canisters without looking like it wandered in from the pet aisle.
- 🧽 Hand wash, and that is the trade — bamboo and powder coating both prefer a cloth to a dishwasher. Ninety seconds at the sink is the cost of a lid that does not warp.
Specs & Care
Two canisters per set. Large: 7 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide. Medium: 6.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. Carbon steel body with a wipe-clean powder coating, natural bamboo lid, raised filigree inlay and the word TREATS on the front.
Hand wash only. The bamboo lid is the reason — bamboo and dishwashers do not get along, and the powder coating lasts longer without the heat cycle either.
Capacity is the one thing the maker does not publish. No volume, no fill weight. We have the external dimensions above and nothing more, so if you are trying to work out whether a particular bag fits, measure the bag and compare — do not take a guess from us as fact.
Sold as a set of two. There is no option to buy the large or the medium on its own.
FAQ
How much does each canister hold?
The maker does not publish a capacity, and we are not going to invent one. What we can give you is the outside dimensions: 7 by 5.5 inches for the large, 6.25 by 4.5 inches for the medium. If capacity is the deciding factor for you, ask us before you order and we will chase the supplier for a number.
Is it airtight?
The maker says the lid seals out moisture, humidity and pests. They do not use the word airtight and neither will we — a bamboo lid on a steel body is a good everyday seal, not a vacuum. For a treat you get through in a few weeks it is more than enough.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash only, per the maker. Warm water and a cloth on the steel, a wipe and a dry on the bamboo.
Does it have to be for treats?
It says TREATS on the front, so it announces itself. Inside, people use these for leashes, poop bag rolls, medicines and everything else that otherwise lives loose in a drawer.
Is there another colour?
Yes — the same set comes in White Swan with gold detailing. Same build, same dimensions, different finish.
🎁 Something To Put In Them
A 25-count case of beef gullet sticks arrives in a bag you will not want on the counter. That is the whole argument for a jar.
