Chicken & Brown Rice — Small Kibble for Small Mouths

Deboned Chicken First 24% Protein 30+ Superfoods AAFCO Puppy

A puppy's jaw is the constraint nobody designs around. Standard kibble is often too large for a toy-breed mouth, so the puppy either bolts it whole or gives up. Little Bites is cut small enough to chew properly, built on deboned chicken and brown rice, and formulated to AAFCO's puppy profile so it's complete on its own.

What's In It

  • 🍗 Deboned chicken is the first ingredient — followed by chicken meal, brown rice and oatmeal. Real meat leads the list rather than a grain or a meal by-product.
  • 💪 24% protein, 18% fat — the guaranteed analysis figures that matter for a growing puppy, alongside 1.1% calcium and 0.9% phosphorus for developing bone.
  • 🍄 Seven organic mushrooms and 30+ superfoods — chaga, lion's mane, reishi, turkey tail, shiitake, maitake and cordyceps, plus goji berries, blueberries, kale, spinach and green-lipped mussel.
  • 🦠 Eight probiotic strains and bovine colostrum — dried Lactobacillus acidophilus and casei, Enterococcus faecium, three Bacillus strains and two Aspergillus, included for digestive support.
  • 🇺🇸 Made in the USA with US-sourced ingredients — no artificial preservatives — the chicken fat is preserved with mixed tocopherols (a form of vitamin E).

FAQ

How small is the kibble, really?
It's cut specifically for small and toy breeds — the point of the range. If your puppy is a large breed, this isn't the right pick: large-breed puppies have different calcium and growth-rate requirements and need a food formulated for them.

How much do I feed?
Health Extension's chart runs from ½ cup a day at 2–3 lb up to 2 cups at 21–30 lb — the full table is in the details panel above. Puppies change weight quickly, so re-check the amount every couple of weeks rather than setting it once.

When do I switch to adult food?
Small breeds generally mature earlier than large ones, but the timing depends on your individual dog. Your vet is the right person to call it at a routine check-up.

Is it suitable for a puppy with a chicken sensitivity?
No. Chicken is the first ingredient and chicken meal and chicken fat are both present. If your puppy reacts to poultry, look at a novel-protein food instead.

What does the AAFCO statement mean?
AAFCO nutritional adequacy statements describe whether a food is complete and balanced, and for which life stage. They are the industry standard and worth checking on any food you buy. This one is formulated for puppies specifically, which is what you want for a growing dog rather than an all-life-stages or adult formula.

🎁 Training Treats That Match the Food

Puppies do a lot of training, and small dogs fill up fast. Pair this with a small, low-calorie reward rather than a rich chew — browse the treats collection for single-ingredient options that won't unbalance a carefully measured diet.

Keep treats to a modest share of daily calories while they're growing.

Small mouths, properly fed. 🐾
